The Port of Salisbury is Maryland’s second-largest port. A variety of commodities and other products are processed at the port. Barges bring petroleum, aggregates, grain, and other loads into the city destined for offloading, storage, and distribution. Located along the Wicomico River waterfront in downtown are commercial shipyards and other marine service facilities.
