Love Point Artificial Reef Rubble Deployment

Love Point artificial reef will receive approximately 1000 tons of concrete slabs and beams from a pier renovation project at Dundalk Marine Terminal.

The additional concrete rubble will be placed in the southeast quadrant of the site at a depth of 25-30 feet MLW, according to U.S. Coast Guard 5th District.

Marine Technologies is scheduled to deploy materials between November 27 and December 1, 2016, weather permitting. On deployment days a tug and 2-3 barges carrying a crane and concrete will be on site.

Love Point Artificial Reef is located in Maryland waters of the Chesapeake Bay.
