Tred Avon Oyster Restoration Open House

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources, NOAA, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will hold a Tred Avon Oyster Restoration Open House on Thursday, November 7, from 3-8 p.m. During the event, speakers will discuss the design and construction of up to 200 acres of oyster reefs in the Tred Avon River oyster sanctuary.
Open house information, including the draft tributary oyster plan, will be available
at www.chesapeakebay.noaa.gov/oysters/oyster-restoration-in-tred-avon.
Comments on the draft plan may be submitted by November 22 to chesapeake.oysters@noaa.gov
