The Chesapeake Bay Trust has been chosen to be a charitable recipient of the 2012 Silopanna Music Festival, which takes place August 11 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. The one day music festival includes three stages and over 20 bands for all ages, including headliners CAKE, Citizen Cope and G. Love and Special Sauce.

During the week of July 23-29, Rams Head will donate one dollar from every ticket sold for the festival to the Chesapeake Bay Trust. The Chesapeake Bay Trust will also hold an online raffle, where participants can enter to win two VIP tickets to the festival and a meet and greet with performer G. Love and Special Sauce. The raffle is one dollar for each entry and will run from July 29-August 4. *

In addition to the exceptional performances, the Silopanna Music Festival will also feature 30 unique vendors, including gourmet food trucks from Washington, D.C. Last year’s inaugural Silopanna Music Festival was cancelled due to arrival of Hurricane Irene, which caused millions in property damage from high winds and resulted in the power loss for thousands.

To purchase tickets from July 23-29 to benefit the Chesapeake Bay Trust, visit http://tickets.silopannafest.com. To learn more about the raffle starting July 29, visit www.cbtrust.org.
