A new Baltimore Harbor Water Alert website provides water-quality data for Baltimore’s Harbor, rivers and streams in an interactive mapping format.
Water-quality data are presented in near real-time with assessment based upon State and Federal standards for ecological and human health. Users are able to graph, compare and explore data and locate their home, school or workplace on the watershed map. The website also provides timely bacteria data to help users make informed decisions about water-contact.
The Baltimore Harbor Water Alert website is a project of the Baltimore Harbor Waterkeeper, a program of Blue Water Baltimore, and Healthy Harbor, an initiative of the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore.
